Even in one of the most prosperous regions of California, thousands of families struggle to access enough nutritious food. Rising living costs, limited resources, and economic pressures create daily challenges for working adults, seniors, and children. This article explores the reality of food insecurity on the Peninsula and highlights how community-driven programs like PFSI Youth are making a meaningful difference.
